During the last five years, the real estate market in Brazil has been immersed in a serious economic crisis. While traditional companies were cutting costs, laying off employees and postponing projects; a new wave of companies emerged, the PropTech startups. Accounted for more than US$ 500M of capital raised, the Brazilian PropTech ecosystem counts more than 600 startups running innovative businesses in the real estate market. The combination of entrepreneurship and technology is creating a new way to think and do business.
