More and more people are adopting smart home products, but they are often deterred by the bad user experience of the digital interfaces that control those products. This is because smart home companies focus on building great hardware and the software becomes an afterthought, even though it’s more than half of the user experience. This talk explains the importance of usability for the future of smart home tech and sustainability.
