CRE landlords are finally realizing that they have underutilized one of their greatest assets - the occupants in their office buildings. Once anonymous bodies piling into lifts, occupants are now being courted with retail discounts, community events and more. More recently, this engagement has gone digital with tenant apps, enabling landlords to collect, categorize and utilize large amounts of data on their occupants. But achieving this requires tenants to download and use the app - not an easy task. This session will review the types of functions and perks landlords are providing to incentivize app use and enrich their data, from thermal comfort control to visitor management.
