Session Description
It is evident that the performance of facility management is highly dependent on the quality of the data it is based on. On the other hand the main hindrance of CAFM introduction at most companies, is the high cost of getting in picture. As gathering data is traditionally a dominantly manual, and slow process, it is always the single highest entry barrier. One logical way to overcome this problem, and cut on the costs is to reuse the BIM as-built documentation if it exists. The question is, is it worth it, and what do we lose on this?
