Until today, with only 3 small plants installed, we are preventing 642,000 liters of drainage annually from ending up in the sea. We know that more than 80% of the population of Peru does not have water or sanitation. There are more than 2,042 agroindustries in Peru that invest more than 1,000,000 Dolars annually just in water for crop irrigation. The problem with water treatment systems is that they are highly expensive, require specialized labor, a lot of time and area for their implementation.
