How Malaysia Proptech Association, established in 2017, has been growing through the efforts of its members and the future goals in an opportunities/challenges-filled market. The main challenge that most associations are facing, during the first years of “existence”, is to be able being recognised as Industry Association and reference platform not only by the start-ups but, above all, by all the stakeholders in the market-place. Working hand in hand with government agencies, property developers’ associations and professional associations has been the way forward till today. Any other option available? What else could be done? During this discussion MPA members will highlight the challenges that our association has faced since the year of its establishment, 2017. The panel will also discuss what else could be done and, hopefully, this could contribute in giving a blueprint to international Proptech peers.
