Technology applied to property, in general, can do wonders! Unfortunately, the message about these wonders remains too often unheard or, if heard, not well understood! Why the Malaysia Proptech Association has been following, understanding and fully underwriting the “Burning man for Real Estate” tag line of this Q1 2021 virtual event, is because we all feel it has open the generally limited people’s mindset about "boundaries”! Internet is a world without boundaries and I’m very sure that, there might be so much to share and learn from each other in terms of market challenges, health challenges, new normal, big data and much much more if we all will decide to take position and strongly stand for open markets, open platforms and open and free/democratic communication! We will do our best during the next 30 plus hours to openly communicate where we stand, our challenges and the huge opportunities that Malaysia offers and, we are pretty much sure other associations on this same platform will do the same. Let’s not stop the dialogue here and keep the ball rolling as the future, a safe and prosperous one, should be looked at as mostly digital or virtual!
