It is being observe that Tourism is evolving the Property industry via Short Term Rental, along with the rise of Airbnb. As the sharing economy on the rise, renting your property to tourist is becoming a norm in Malaysia and even the whole Southeast Asia. Malaysia is reported to be the highest year on year growth in terms of numbers of listing in 2018 & 2019 in Airbnb, amongst the other countries in SEA. Why is this ? Is this a short term solution ? Or will this be a long term solution? And how will it impact the industry and economy.
