Session Description
Building digital tools for the real estate industry, which is notoriously considered averse to technology adoption, is challenging. Product developers must work hand-in-hand with industry experts in order to build solutions that deliver value to real estate companies in a way that makes sense within existing day-to-day workflows.
But doing so seems counterproductive to technology adoption – if the digital experience doesn’t fundamentally change the processes that our customers follow every day, what’s the point? For us, we’re focused on the title and escrow process for residential real estate transactions.
The reality is, there’s a reason that real estate companies have been doing things the way they’ve been doing them for so long – because it’s familiar and it works. When these processes were first implemented, the efficiency introduced greatly outweighed the bottlenecks and headaches that remained. Today, with more powerful technology, these remaining inefficiencies are being eradicated.
In order to communicate value in a solution to someone reluctant to change, it must be presented in tune with the systems and processes that they are already using. This is our philosophy at JetClosing that allowed us to build a fully digital, mobile-friendly and real-time dashboard that enables real estate agents and lenders to be more transparent with buyers, sellers and borrowers during the title and escrow process.
On this panel, moderated by JetClosing's VP of Marketing Sandi Stoller, I will be joined by our Chief Technology Officer David Wolf and VP of Sales Matt Rockhold to talk about what went into making JetClosing’s groundbreaking platform simple and flexible without overhauling the entire title and escrow process, or polarizing traditional brokerages and lenders from the minority of technology savants in residential real estate today.
