Session Description
Coliving leaders talk about why coliving could be the blueprint for how many unattached over 50s will live in future. Featuring - Lucy McInally, "... And So Forth" Lucy McInally is an interior designer and collaborative design researcher. A recent Masters graduate from the Glasgow School of Art, Lucy developed her own co-design methods whilst researching intergenerational design, influenced by her work with the City Region Deal at the University of Stirling, who deliver inclusive growth deal projects to the Stirling and Clackmannanshire region. Lucy worked towards the establishment of the Intergenerational Village project - providing technological, health and social care, architectural and streetscape solutions to living well in older age. Lucy is the Founder of ...And So Forth, a marketing agency providing creative solutions to small businesses. - Suzanne Noble, Nestful Suzanne Noble is a serial entrepreneur and the co-founder of nestful (formerly Silver Sharers) and of the social enterprise Advantages of Age. Her passion is around transforming the media narrative around ageing, to enable those aged over 50+ to live happier, healthier lives. - Margaret Byrne, Cosy Quarters Maggie Byrne founded Cosy Quarters in April 2020 when she noticed a gap in the market for people aged over 40 looking for flat shares and house shares. Coming from a background of teaching, she developed an interest in the property market as an alternative career move, over the past few years. Cosy Quarters offers mature people an opportunity to meet like minded people to form compatible house shares. Members are matched by location, budget and lifestyle, they can securely chat online through the site, and meet each other on the scheduled zoom events or in live events when appropriate.
