A perspective on the future of the office

Session Description
Office spaces and the nature of office-based work were transforming before COVID-19. Advancements in mobile technology and the proliferation of internet services such as cloud computing, have been at the heart of this change. These innovations have made it feasible for many workers who relied on a laptop, to work from any location where they could find an internet connection. As a result, we had already started to witness a partial integration of home, office and social spaces. The hard lines between these previously disparate spaces were being blurred. This talk expands on how the office can evolve and how architecture, engineering and technology disciplines must collaborate to deliver the spaces of the future.
